Hi Fun Seekers,

Before I delve into today’s topic, I want to share something that’s blessed me this past week.

Jesus said “it is more blessed to give than to receive.”

I love giving away helpful resources for free.

For that reason most of the content on our Mediography is absolutely free.

In addition, over the last week, we’ve given away one of my previous books for free to all of our subscribers. (I’m thankful to my publisher for agreeing to do this. This is rare in the publishing world.)

This week I’ll be giving away a free chapter from one of my books here on the blog. And another chapter in the near future.

How to Spread Important Ideas Freely

I know that some of you are new to Twitter. And some of you haven’t yet joined.

I’ve already blogged about why you should join.

For those of you who are on Twitter, let me give you a tip.

If you ever read a blog post that you find helpful, encouraging, challenging, inspiration, insightful (add your own adjective) . . . in short, you find a post that’s worth passing on to others . . . there’s a super easy way to spread the word to others so that they also may benefit.

Scroll down to the bottom of the post. You will see a “Tweet” button. Here’s an image illustrating what it looks like. Look at the very bottom, the blue button. (This is from the post entitled Billy Graham’s Prophecy.)

You’ll notice that as of this morning 87 people clicked the “Tweet” button. That means that 87 people took a second to click “Tweet” so that all the people following them (and more) on Twitter would see it. (Many people see your tweets even if they don’t follow you.)

The Tweet button is a powerful way to spread ideas freely.

That said, I’d like to make a request to all of you who read this blog. Can I do that?

Here are the last 5 content posts:

Revise Us Again

A Vanishing God

Jesus in a Dilemma

Legalism, License, Lordship, and Liberty

When God is Moving Among a People, This Will Happen

Click on the one or two posts that you’ve enjoyed the most. Scroll down to the bottom of each post and click “Tweet.” (You can do this even if you tweeted it before.)

Even if half of you do this, we should see the “Tweet” button on some of those posts hitting well into the hundreds. So let’s see what happens, eh?

I rarely make requests from my readers. So can you do that? It will take you less than 10 seconds. Maybe a tad more if you still haven’t joined Twitter.

I’d appreciate it.

On to the Present Subject: Social Networking

This is a survey.

Other than Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter (let’s leave those out), what Social Networks do you use and why?

I just joined LinkedIn because numerous friends persisted in asking me to join. So I finally caved in. We’ll see how it goes. It’s too early for me to tell. But I’m there. Whatever that means.

Looking forward to seeing the results of this survey and checking out the Tweet counts.
