Frank does not moderate comments on this blog himself. Here are the standards used for comment approval:
1. The comment must be directly related to the particular blog topic at hand. The blog isn’t a graffiti wall or an “anything goes” forum. It’s a topic-driven discussion.
2. Spam comments will not be approved.
3. Flames or anything remotely similar to a flame will not be approved. A flame is an attack on someone personally, judging their motives and/or character. It also includes spreading gossip.
4. Comments that bash churches will not be approved. It’s one thing to critique a church but it’s another to bash it and employ name-calling.
5. Comments that the blog manager doesn’t understand due to confusing content or language will not be approved. If the blog manger doesn’t understand it, there’s a good chance that others won’t either.
6. Comments that are incredibly long and/or which contain advertisements will not be approved.
Sometimes legitimate comments go into the spam folder for some reason, so they are not seen by the moderator.
If this is your first time writing a comment on this blog, please begin your comment with the word FROG.
